Introducing Orinoco 365

As many of you will be aware, over the past few years I’ve been working heavily on overseeing the development of Orinoco 365 – a Microsoft 365 provisioning tool that is designed specifically for Records Managers.

My vision here is to combine the best components from all of the successful retention architectures that I’ve encountered into a highly-reliable and cost-effective Microsoft 365 records management solution.

Rather than trying to fight against the grain (and build a bespoke retention engine like pretty much every other Records Management product), Orinoco 365 instead makes it easier for you to take advantage of the compliance capabilities that you are already paying for in Microsoft Purview.

I know I’m biased here – but if I needed to find a way to easily and quickly apply best practice governance to a Microsoft 365 tenant (without it costing the earth) – I’d look no further than Orinoco 365.

Anyhow – just to be clear, I want to keep the posts on this site focused on discussions around Microsoft 365’s retention capabilities (and not let it become an advert for a product!). While I’m sure I’ll mention Orinoco 365 in passing, I’m going to work to ensure that this blog continues to provide best practice guidance around Microsoft 365.

For any of you who are interested in finding out more, I've written this blog post which explores some of the benefits provided by Orinoco 365:
